Job Description
Our client’s practice is a growing, small animal clinic. They’re seeking a fun, happy, caring, and super-organised Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team. You must have a passion for providing excellent preventative healthcare, a desire to support student vet nurses, and a commitment to pushing anaesthesia and analgesia to the highest standards, always putting their patients first.
They’re an established, RCVS & TP accredited small animal practice. Their close-knit team is looking for someone to seamlessly integrate into their tribe, prioritising their patients and meeting their clients’ needs. Crucially, they seek someone who aligns with their philosophy: They look out for, and after, each other as colleagues, putting their needs first. When they do that, everything else falls into place.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (full-time equivalent).
- Full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time role (30 hours per week) available; overtime for holiday cover.
- No out-of-hours duties.
- Professional fees covered.
- Company pension.
- 20% discount at the retail pet store.
About You:
- Are you super organised, love making lists, and excel at meeting deadlines?
- Do you strive to provide the highest standards of preventative care, ensuring clients’ pets remain happy and healthy?
- Would you enjoy passing on your skills and knowledge to support the next generation of Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants?
- Do you still love being a Veterinary Nurse ‘on the ground’ and thrive on being hands-on?
- Do you dislike when things run behind but love being the one to get them back on track?
- Are you passionate about anaesthesia and analgesia, eager to take it to the next level?
You Have:
- A clinical interest in preventative care, anaesthesia, analgesia, and in-patient care.
- Established good relationships with colleagues and clients alike, even the difficult ones.
- Assisted colleagues in developing their skills and overcoming challenges.
If this sounds like you, their team, clients, and patients would love for you to join them. Please read on.
