Farm Vet Surgeon, Devon, Large growing team,

Our client is a busy mixed RCVS accredited practice that has modern facilities and all the usual diagnostic tools such as digital X-ray, endoscopes, Ultrasound, ECG and more.

On the Farm side they are dairy focused, but we do have beef and sheep clients to care for too. Our team is sociable and supportive, so the position could also suit new graduates as well as experienced vets.

They candidate will be joining a large busy team environment so being a team player with great communication will be essential. Also as a team they regularly meet to discuss clinical and other issues and our new graduates have a clinical club within the practice and are enrolled onto a New Graduate training programme. The teams includes certificate holders and others working towards post graduate qualifications

The client is based in Devon with branches within easy reach of the Devon and Cornwall coastline with their amazing surf beaches, local festivals and laid back lifestyles.

The right candidate will be enthusiastic with excellent client care skills, be able to build strong trusting relationships with clients and be able to articulate clear treatment advice and options.

You need to be able to work within the clinical and non-clinical teams, and to proactively help with the development of the Practice. It is also important that you want to develop your general veterinary and surgical skills.

Excellent package available, including great CPD is actively encouraged and funded, BUPA, Pension as are memberships of appropriate professional bodies, 30 days holiday including bank holidays. Regular long weekends Thurs – Mon and can be flexible on OOHs depending on requirements
