About the role
The position involves the responsibility of all the orthopaedic and pain management cases. The practice is continuing to grow and are in need of additional Vets to assist with the workload. Whilst the position is mainly orthopaedics the Vet will be expected to do some first opinion work. For a part time Vet the role could be solely orthopaedic which would include consultations, surgery and working alongside the nursing team managing OA and chronic pain clinics.

They practice are looking for a Vet who has a good level of all round general practice experience. They will have strong surgical skills and be able to complete TPLO and patella surgery. As they will have overall responsibility for the orthopaedic cases, they will display good leadership skills with an approachable and friendly manner. They will have excellent client care and communication skills. A bias for soft tissue surgery would be advantageous.They will also be expected to be a team player.

  • Salary: 60,000 commensurate to experience
