We have a great opportunity for an OOH Small Animal Vet to join a team at a RCVS accredited Tier 3 Hospital.
About the Role:
The role will involve working 7 nights on, 14 nights off. You would be part of a team of 4 OOH Vets that run the OOH service for 16 of our small animal practices. The role will involve taking care of current inpatients and any emergency cases from the outlying practices.
They are looking for professional and motivated individuals, who have a real passion for working in an OOH, emergency care environment. The role would be sole charge, with support from 2 qualified RVN’s and an ANA on duty. It would be beneficial if applicants have at least 2 years of exposure within a similar environment.
About the Practice:
Led by their Clinical Director, the practice is staffed by a group of passionate vets, outstanding nurses and dedicated receptionists committed to providing the very highest level of patient and clinical care. They encourage and ensure a supportive environment for all staff. The hospital sees a wide case load and is a brilliant environment to utilise and develop your skill set which ensures great job satisfaction. They have fantastic diagnostic and surgical facilities including CT and there is a referral team on site. All staff are encouraged to get involved with projects and as a practice we continually embrace new ideas and evolve.
