They are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join their fantastic team on a part-time permanent basis!

About Their Practice:
Their well-equipped surgery is purpose-built to industry-leading standards, featuring a large theatre, excellent ultrasound machine, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, and in-house Idexx lab machines. The practice boasts separate kennel and cattery facilities, thoughtfully spread out to provide first-class care for all their clients.
The Role:
You, as the Veterinary Nurse, will be joining an experienced team, including 1 full-time and 3 part-time vets, 3 RVNs, 5 Client Care Advisors, and 1 Client Care Manager. This includes their partners, Practice Manager/RVN and Vet. The Practice Manager has 21 years of nursing experience and 13 years of qualification, becoming a Partner in 2017 and moving to Practice Manager four years ago. The Vet, with 13 years of qualification after studying at Bristol University, offers valuable expertise.
They take pride in being a Silver accredited cat-friendly practice and hope their next colleague, the Veterinary Nurse, shares the same enthusiasm and care for them as they do. The Practice Manager has also undergone training to become a Dogs Trust Dog-friendly Vet. Their goal is to make every patient visit as fear-free as possible, and the entire team, including you as the Veterinary Nurse, is dedicated to achieving this.
About you:
As a successful candidate, you, the Veterinary Nurse, will possess good general veterinary nursing skills, excellent communication skills, and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in animal welfare. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and the team are essential.
Compensation & Benefits:
The position will include:
- Part-time: 2 days (17 to 20 hours per week), either Monday and Friday or Thursday and Friday
- No out-of-hours or weekends
- Working alongside their Head Nurse and RVN (you), with 1 full-time and 3 part-time vets
- Involvement in a mix of operating and nurse clinics
- £300 CPD allowance each year
- 5.6 weeks holiday (including bank holidays), increasing to 6.6 weeks after 2 years of service
