Job Description
They are seeking an experienced, energetic, and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join their team. However, they will happily consider a confident newly qualified nurse. The practice is situated in proximity to a fantastic selection of local amenities, large green spaces, numerous bus routes, and just 10 minutes from the city centre. Their excellent location ensures exposure to a variety of interesting cases and a dedicated and loyal client base. If you are looking for a warm, friendly, and supportive working environment, then they are the team for you!
Veterinary Nurses are the heart of their practice, playing an integral clinical role in caring for patients. This role is suitable for an ambitious nurse with excellent communication skills who wishes to utilise all their nursing skills while working alongside a positive and passionate team. They believe in the continuous development of their nursing team.
The Role:
This can be a Full or Part-Time role, and they can be flexible to accommodate your preferences. You will have your fair share of surgery and consults, and the role will involve only 1 in 4 Saturday morning clinics and no out-of-hours commitments.
You will be joining a supportive clinical team of 6 vets (3 full-time, 3 part-time), working alongside 2.5 RVNs and 2 SVN’s, and a VCA. Their client care team comprises 3 receptionists and a practice manager. Their clients hold them in high regard, and they believe you will too!
They are a locally run, stand-alone practice with the backing of a larger organisation. Their facilities include all the necessary equipment, such as x-ray, dental x-ray, a soon-to-be brand-new ultrasound machine, in-house lab, separate dog/cat/isolation wards, 4 consultation rooms, and a spacious theatre space. Their practice is purpose-built, spacious, and bright with plenty of natural light.
Compensation & Benefits:
They can also offer:
• Company pension scheme
• Generous CPD allowance
• 5.5 weeks holiday (including bank holidays)
• Colleague discounts (including 20% off Pets at Home)
• Salary up to £30,000, dependent on experience.
If you share their passion for delivering outstanding patient care, exceptional customer service, and would like to join their friendly team, then please do not hesitate to contact them.
They want their colleagues to be as diverse as their clients. Their teams are inclusive and celebrate difference, so if you meet their role requirements, they’d love to hear from you.
So, if you have an ambition to be part of the future, please apply.
