Job Description
Our client has a very rare opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join their amazing team here. If you are looking for a new opportunity to join an amazing team, then this role is for you. They are also open to a newly qualified candidate too, so please get in touch!
About Their Practice:
They are a small animal practice that opened in 2014 and have just grown exponentially ever since. They’re lucky to be a cohesive team, reflected in the awards won so far this year – practice of the year (won in April 2023, voted for by clients) and supportive practice of the year for their new graduate (won in June 2023).
They are currently an 8-vet practice led by their JVP, with 4 fantastic Veterinary Nurses led by their HRVN, 1 SVN, 3 VCAs, 3 receptionists, and a great PM. They are an incredibly close-knit and stable team with quite a few of them working together for many years, and they are looking forward to welcoming a new colleague into their friendly team.
This is the first position they have advertised for a Veterinary Nurse other than their initial recruitment 9 years ago. They are currently going through a very vast and exciting expansion within the practice and feel now is the right time to grow their nursing team. They are also gaining some lovely state-of-the-art equipment as well as a dedicated nurse room where they will be able to offer a variety of nurse clinics and services to their large client base. All of the Veterinary Nurses have a keen interest in various aspects of nursing clinics including cat-friendly, diabetes management, and nutrition clinics.
The Role:
They are ideally looking for a full-time Veterinary Nurse, however, part-time would be considered for the right person! Full-time hours are 40 hours per week which will include Saturday and Sunday too in the rota and paid lunch breaks, and there are no OOH responsibilities. The salary range would be up to £30,000 depending on experience.
They are ideally looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join the team; however, they are also open to a newly qualified Veterinary Nurse joining their amazing team.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Contributory pension scheme
- Generous CPD allowance which is strongly encouraged
- Paid memberships
- Exclusive company discounts and rewards including 20% off at VetsforPets, Pets at Home and Pets Grooming
They want their colleagues to be as diverse as their clients. Their teams are inclusive and celebrate difference, so if you meet their role requirements, they’d love to hear from you.
So, if you have an ambition to be part of the future, please apply.
