Join a friendly team at a well-equipped practice in Bolton, just 30 minutes from Manchester city centre. We’re seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a part-time role (up to 30 hours per week), offering flexibility in hours and a supportive environment.

Our team includes 3 Vets (one with CertAVP in dermatology, two enrolled on CertAVP), 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs, and 2 CCAs, led by three owners. Ideal candidates will have a few years’ experience; occasional sole charge on weekends (1 in 4) may be required, but support is available from experienced Vets. We offer flexibility for consult-only or mixed consults and surgery. Consults are 15 minutes with downtime for paperwork and breaks tailored to your needs. Our nurses also conduct nurse-only consults to manage workload efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality veterinary care, including consultations, diagnostics, and surgery.
• Work collaboratively with our team, which includes experienced Vets and supportive nursing staff.
• Manage a varied caseload with the option for consult-only roles if preferred.

Requirements:

• A degree in Veterinary Medicine with RCVS registration.
• Experience in small animal practice, with skills in general practice veterinary services.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including a share of weekend shifts.
