Job Description
Our Client is seeking a Nurse Hospital Lead to oversee the efficient operation of a veterinary hospital and ensure the highest standards of nursing care for patients.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated Clinical Team of Vets, playing a pivotal role in maintaining excellent nursing care and supporting veterinary services. They will lead by example, fostering a culture of positivity and collaboration within the nursing team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient daily operations of the hospital.
- Supervise nursing staff during day shifts.
- Maintain accurate hospital documentation and records.
- Manage hospital supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to enhance inpatient care protocols.
- Uphold Health and Safety standards within the hospital.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor student nurses.
- Work with the Nurse Management Team to develop the nursing team and improve patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care.
- Enthusiastic, positive, and organised with strong communication skills.
- Team player with potential management experience.
Benefits:
- Salary: £36,000-£38,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience).
