Veterinary Surgeon

The successful candidate will become part of a dedicated team at a well-equipped practice, featuring two consult rooms, a theatre and prep room, kennels, a lab, x-rays, ultrasound, and ample off-road parking. The role offers support from a Branch Partner and access to other practices, including out-of-hours services and a nearby referral centre.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.
• Provide clear updates and exceptional care to clients.
• Maintain professional excellence, adhering to the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
• Prepare accurate, tailored treatment and care plans for patients, including cost estimates.
• Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills and effectiveness.
• Complete clinical handovers and arrange patient transfers as needed.
• Support and share clinical best practices within the practice and the broader veterinary community.

Requirements:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• Proven experience in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership skills.
• Experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture.
• Ability to support nurse consultations and manage procedures, understanding their impact on clinic performance and efficiency.
• Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues to achieve their best.
