Registered Veterinary Nurse

Our client is a leading veterinary care provider with practices across the UK, including several 24-hour veterinary centres and referral centres, and a growing presence overseas. They are currently seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated team, working 40 hours per week with a 1:6 full weekend rota.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and dynamic team, contributing to various projects aimed at delivering exceptional patient care. They will be part of a close-knit team, working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for patients and clients. Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients.
• Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activities.
• Conduct nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.
• Monitor and care for patients.
• Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
• Facilitate patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
• Dispense and check medication.
• Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
• Hold briefings to engage and coordinate the team for the most effective practice operations.

Requirements

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience in supporting nurse consultations, understanding their contribution to practice performance and efficiency.
• Proficient in using coaching and influencing skills to enhance team performance.
