Our client, a leading veterinary care provider with practices across the UK and a growing international presence, is currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon. The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled and experienced team, including a new Branch Partner and a Certificate Holder, in a recently refurbished facility equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients, offering updates on patient status.
  • Maintain high standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
  • Prepare tailored treatment and care plans, including accurate cost estimates.
  • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills and ensuring effective use of talents.
  • Manage clinical handovers and arrange patient transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced care.
  • Share and support best clinical practices within and across practices and the wider community.

 

Requirements

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional care to patients and clients.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with experience in working effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership abilities.
  • Experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture.
  • Understanding of the importance of nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures in clinic performance and efficiency.
  • Proficient in coaching and influencing colleagues to achieve optimal results.
