Our client is looking for a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys using their nursing skills in both medicine and surgery, along with nurse consultations.
Objectives:
This role offers the successful candidate the chance to work in a busy clinic with interesting cases, alongside a team of 4 vets, 6 nurses, and 4 receptionists. The large clinic has 3 consulting rooms, an operating theatre, and an imaging room. They also work with VVS to support ultrasound scanning if required.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre- and post-procedure activities.
- Carry out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
- Hold briefings to engage and coordinate the team to support the effective running of the practice.
Requirements:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in supporting nurse consultations, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
- Skilled in using coaching and influencing techniques to get the best out of every colleague.

Role Details:
This part-time role involves working Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, with inclusion on the Saturday rota from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The salary is £14,334.74 per annum.
