Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care to clients and their pets.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, managing all pre- and post-procedure activities.
  • Conduct nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.
  • Provide patient monitoring and care.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
  • Facilitate patient transfers for out-of-hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Maintain professional excellence, adhering to all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
  • Coordinate and engage with the team to ensure the effective running of the practice.

 

Requirements:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in supporting nurse consultations and understanding their impact on practice performance and efficiency.
  • Skilled in using coaching and influencing techniques to optimise team performance.
