Job Description
They are excited to announce an opening for a Night Veterinary Surgeon at their 24-hour practice. This role involves working 7 nights followed by 21 nights off, offering a unique work-life balance.
As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to join their dedicated night team, working on a variety of critical cases. You will be involved in high-impact projects and contribute significantly to patient care and team development.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, offering updates on patient status.
- Maintain the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
- Develop accurate and tailored treatment and care plans for each patient, including cost estimates.
- Mentor and support your team, enhancing their skills and contributing to their professional growth.
- Manage clinical handovers and coordinate patient transfers for out-of-hours or specialised care.
- Promote and share clinical best practices within the team and the broader community.
Requirements
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding care to both patients and clients.
- Strong team player with the ability to demonstrate clinical leadership.
- Experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture and supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures.
- Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues to enhance clinic performance and efficiency.
