Job Description
They are seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team, working 40 hours per week with 1:6 full weekends. This role is integral to providing exceptional care within their practice.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become a key member of their dedicated team, contributing to a variety of high-impact projects. They will be involved in supporting surgeries and procedures, managing patient care, and enhancing practice efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding care to clients and patients.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-procedure tasks.
- Conduct nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.
- Provide patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
- Coordinate patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care facilities.
- Dispense and verify medication.
- Maintain high standards of care, adhering to all regulatory and practice standards.
- Lead briefings to engage and coordinate the team for effective practice operation.
Requirements
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Proven experience in delivering excellent patient and client care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience supporting nurse consults and understanding their impact on practice performance.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills to optimise team performance.
