Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care to small animals, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
  • Work collaboratively with other vets, nurses, and support staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Conduct clinical appointments and consultations, managing both routine and complex cases.
  • Use advanced medical equipment, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, and endoscopy.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to team discussions on improving care standards.
  • Support and mentor junior staff and veterinary nurses as needed.
  • Stay up to date with current veterinary practices through continuous professional development (CPD).

 

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
  • Full registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Experience in small animal medicine is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners.
