Job Description

Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their dedicated and expanding team. This role offers the chance to be part of a supportive environment and contribute to a thriving practice focused on delivering high-quality animal care.

The successful candidate will work alongside a dynamic team of veterinary professionals, including one full-time RVN, two SVNs, and one VCA. They will collaborate on various projects, including supporting the development of students and driving the growth of the practice. As part of an ISFM Silver award cat-friendly practice, they will have access to the latest technology and facilities and will help maintain the high standards of care for which the practice is known.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursing team in a busy and growing practice.
  • Support the development of students, either as a clinical coach or by undertaking clinical coach training.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of small animals.
  • Assist in the implementation of practice policies and procedures to maintain RCVS Small Animal Accreditation.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the practice, enhancing both client and patient care.

 

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Experience in a clinical setting, ideally with prior experience as a clinical coach or willingness to undertake this training.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care and client communication.
  • Ability to work well within a team and foster a positive, collaborative environment.
