Job Description
Are you a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in animal care? An exciting opportunity awaits at a friendly and supportive veterinary practice, where your skills and compassion will be highly valued.
This role offers a chance to work within a close-knit team of veterinary professionals, including 9 vets, 8 qualified nurses, 1 trainee nurse, and 4 VCAs, supported by a wonderful front-of-house team. The successful candidate will join a modern, purpose-built facility, fully equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasonography, and in-house laboratory facilities – everything needed to deliver top-quality care. Recent expansion and refurbishment have created a bright, welcoming workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients
- Assist in routine and specialised procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Support the veterinary team with day-to-day clinic operations
- Engage in continuous professional development and team training
- (Optional) Coach and mentor trainee nurses if you’re interested in developing as a clinical coach
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
- A passion for patient care and teamwork
- Willingness to develop further skills or qualifications that will benefit the practice
