Registered Veterinary Nurse

Our client’s community-focused veterinary practice is a well-established clinic that has seen remarkable growth since 2015 under the leadership of a committed partner. They are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their supportive and progressive team, contributing to the delivery of outstanding veterinary care.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a highly collaborative team where the successful candidate will contribute directly to both surgical and medical cases, using state-of-the-art facilities. They will be part of a skilled team consisting of 10 Vets, 12 RVNs, 1 SVN, 6 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager, allowing specialisation or pursuit of advanced qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively across practice locations, providing exceptional care to clients and their pets
• Support in a range of cases, including critical care, anaesthesia, soft tissue surgery, endoscopy, and laparoscopy
• Take an active role in setting clinical standards, protocols, and daily practice management
• Participate in ongoing CPD with access to an unlimited budget and pursue certifications and advanced qualifications
• Contribute to the mission of delivering high-standard care, focusing on excellent pet healthcare and client service

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification with active membership
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, along with a client-focused approach
• Passion for critical care, surgery, and advancing clinical standards
• Previous experience in a busy practice setting and an interest in CPD and continuous learning
• A proactive, energetic, and caring attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of veterinary care
