Registered Veterinary Nurse

Job Description

The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced team of 5 Vets (including a certificate holder in ophthalmology), 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), 1 Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN), a Practice Manager (who is also an RVN), 4 receptionists, and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs). The purpose-built, air-conditioned practice is equipped with state-of-the-art tools, including tonometry, ultrasound, a K-laser, and digital X-rays. Alternative therapies such as acupuncture are offered and encouraged.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the daily running of the practice, ensuring exceptional patient care and client service. They will be part of a close-knit team, contributing to exciting projects and initiatives. Whether just beginning their career or looking to develop further, they will receive the support and resources needed to achieve professional goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of patient and client care.
• Assist with surgical procedures, diagnostics, and patient recovery.
• Maintain clinical areas and equipment to the highest standards.
• Educate clients on preventative healthcare and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with the team to meet both personal and practice objectives.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification or be working towards it.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to learning and development.
• Passion for working as part of a team to deliver exceptional care.
