Job Description

Are you a Veterinary Surgeon seeking a role with flexibility, development opportunities, and a true work-life balance? Position Details:

  • Location: Cheshire
  • Hours: Part-time, 4 days/week (2 short days, 2 long days, ~30 hours)
  • Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE, FTE)
  • Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays (9 am–12 pm), no Sundays or OOH

Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-quality care to patients with complete clinical freedom
  • Collaborate with an experienced and supportive team, including the owner and 3 other vets
  • Work in a practice that values quick decision-making and input from its team
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold high standards of care

Requirements:

  • Veterinary degree and RCVS membership
  • Experience in small animal medicine and surgical procedures
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client and patient care

About the Practice:

This standalone surgery is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, BP measurement, and in-house laboratory. The team, led by an RVN, includes 3 vets (one with a special interest in exotics), 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 2 receptionists.
