Job Description

Our client is an ethical, forward-thinking independent practice known for delivering exceptional patient care while prioritising sustainability and a positive team culture. They’re looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join their friendly and experienced team, following a colleague’s move into a teaching role.
The successful candidate will work closely with a supportive clinical team of three vets and five RVNs, gaining exposure to a diverse caseload, including small furries and exotics. There’s genuine scope to develop nurse-led services, pursue specific clinical interests, or undertake further qualifications with full support.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent nursing care across consultations, theatre, and inpatient support
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to uphold high clinical standards
- Lead or support nurse-led initiatives and services
- Contribute to continuous improvement and practice development
- Participate in team meetings and client communication
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with some post-qualification experience
- Confident, compassionate, and collaborative in approach
- Keen to contribute ideas and shape the future of the practice
- Interest in professional development, including coaching or certificates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits
- Salary: £30,000–£33,000 (pro-rata for part-time)
- 6.6 weeks’ holiday (FTE), including bank holidays
