This is an exciting chance to work within a diverse team of vets with expertise ranging from internal medicine to neurology and cardiology. You’ll contribute to a varied caseload in a well-equipped hospital and have the chance to follow your interests and develop your skills further. From daily rounds to regular training and dedicated development days, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you progress your career.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients across a varied caseload
- Work up and follow through your cases using advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities
- Participate in daily clinical rounds and contribute to evidence-based discussions
- Support and mentor colleagues where needed, fostering a collaborative environment
- Help maintain high standards of patient care and client service
- Take part in the weekend rota (1:8 daytimes only) with time off in lieu
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
Requirements
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Some experience preferred, though recent graduates are welcome and fully supported
- A commitment to delivering excellent clinical care and client communication
- A positive, proactive attitude and enthusiasm for working as part of a team
- Willingness to develop clinical interests and contribute to a supportive culture
Benefits
- Salary of £45,000 – £70,000 depending on experience
- 6.6 weeks’ holiday including bank holidays
- CPD allowance of £1,750 and 5 days, with certificates encouraged and funded
