Job Description

Our client, a multi-award-winning veterinary practice, is seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in endoscopy (medically inclined) or laparoscopy (surgically inclined) to provide outstanding care for patients. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of advanced procedures including soft tissue surgery, diagnostic and interventional endoscopy, and advanced laparoscopic operations. They will have access to cutting-edge technology such as laser surgery, rapid cancer diagnostics, ventilators, and in-house laboratories. This role offers the chance to develop clinical expertise while enhancing skills in advanced diagnostics and surgical techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose health issues in animals

  • Perform surgical procedures, including endoscopy or laparoscopy (training available for the right candidate)

  • Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgeries

  • Collaborate closely with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of care

  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

  • Advise pet owners on post-operative care and long-term health management

Requirements

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with relevant clinical experience

  • Interest in endoscopy (medical) or laparoscopy (surgical)

  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with pet owners and team members

  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous professional development

  • Previous experience in soft tissue surgery or advanced anaesthesia is desirable
