As a Senior RVN, you will play a key role in leading a dedicated and dynamic team, ensuring the smooth daily running of the practice and delivering the highest standard of patient care. You will work alongside a talented group of vets, VCAs, and trainee nurses, with the full support of regional management and the wider network.

Responsibilities
In this varied and engaging role, you will:

Lead, support, and inspire the nursing and clinical team

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently

Manage rotas, diaries, and workflow to maintain excellent service standards

Support trainee nurses and help them reach their full potential

Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical governance

Take responsibility for equipment maintenance and stock management

Foster strong team engagement and morale, particularly during busy periods
Requirements
This role would suit an experienced RVN who is:

Confident in both clinical and leadership skills, with a proactive and organised approach

A strong communicator who enjoys building positive relationships with colleagues and clients

Passionate about patient welfare and committed to delivering excellent client care

Keen to take on a leadership position with the training and support to succeed

Flexible and collaborative within a busy, team-focused environment

RCVS registered and eager to continue developing professionally

Salary: £34,000–£39,000 (depending on experience, with room for growth)

Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekend rotation and occasional bank holiday cover (with time back)
