As a Senior RVN, you will play a key role in leading a dedicated and dynamic team, ensuring the smooth daily running of the practice and delivering the highest standard of patient care. You will work alongside a talented group of vets, VCAs, and trainee nurses, with the full support of regional management and the wider network.

Responsibilities

In this varied and engaging role, you will:

• Lead, support, and inspire the nursing and clinical team

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently

• Manage rotas, diaries, and workflow to maintain excellent service standards

• Support trainee nurses and help them reach their full potential

• Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical governance

• Take responsibility for equipment maintenance and stock management

• Foster strong team engagement and morale, particularly during busy periods

Requirements

This role would suit an experienced RVN who is:

• Confident in both clinical and leadership skills, with a proactive and organised approach

• A strong communicator who enjoys building positive relationships with colleagues and clients

• Passionate about patient welfare and committed to delivering excellent client care

• Keen to take on a leadership position with the training and support to succeed

• Flexible and collaborative within a busy, team-focused environment

• RCVS registered and eager to continue developing professionally

• Salary: £34,000–£39,000 (depending on experience, with room for growth)

• Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekend rotation and occasional bank holiday cover (with time back)
