They are now opening a new independent specialist referral centre, initially focusing on ophthalmology referrals, and are seeking a friendly, motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team from the very beginning.

Your Opportunity
As one of the founding team members, you’ll play a key role in shaping the day-to-day operations and standards of patient care. Whether you already have referral experience or are looking to take your first step into referral nursing, you’ll join a collaborative and supportive environment where learning, teamwork, and innovation are at the heart of everything they do.
You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians, helping to deliver exceptional care to medical, surgical, and high-dependency patients, while contributing ideas to refine and enhance the practice as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care for medical, surgical, and high-dependency patients
Support clinicians in specialist ophthalmology procedures and patient management
Maintain smooth day-to-day operations across clinical areas
Contribute to developing protocols and workflows as the centre evolves
Foster a positive, supportive team culture
Demonstrate compassion, attention to detail, and professionalism in all aspects of care
What You’ll Bring
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification
Previous small animal nursing experience (referral experience an advantage, but not essential)
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Enthusiasm for professional development and lifelong learning
A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care
What’s on Offer
Salary: From £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, five days per week (Monday to Friday)
25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, with additional days for length of service
