Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, forward-thinking independent practice. This role provides the autonomy to lead, mentor, and make a real impact every day, with the potential to step into a Clinical Lead position within 6–12 months.

The Role

This senior position is ideal for a confident clinician who enjoys leading by example and supporting colleagues to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the leadership team, shaping the future of the small animal service while maintaining a varied clinical caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care across a diverse and interesting caseload

  • Mentor and guide junior vets, sharing expertise and supporting their development

  • Contribute to refining clinical standards, protocols, and best practices

  • Collaborate with senior management to drive service growth and innovation

The practice is particularly keen to strengthen its small animal medicine offering, but whether your expertise lies in medicine, surgery, or another area, what matters most is your drive to lead, collaborate, and deliver exceptional care.

What Our Client Offers

  • Salary: £60,000–£75,000 (DOE)

  • Opportunity to progress to Clinical Lead within 6–12 months
