Job Description
Our client is a rapidly growing, independent veterinary practice with a strong reputation for excellence in feline medicine. They are expanding to welcome all small animals and are looking for a motivated, people-focused RVN to join their team. As part of their team, you’ll:

Contribute to the launch and development of a new small-animal service while maintaining high standards of feline care at their established site.

Work alongside an experienced and supportive nurse team with expertise in feline behaviour, anaesthesia, and nurse clinics.

Participate in developing condition-specific clinics and be encouraged to pursue professional certificates and CPD.

Play an active role in shaping practice workflows, ideas, and service offerings as the new venture grows.
Responsibilities
You will:

Deliver high-quality nursing care across a diverse caseload of small animals and cats.

Support nurses and vets in clinical procedures, anaesthesia, and nurse-led consultations.

Assist in developing and running specialised nurse clinics.

Collaborate with the team through daily huddles, case discussions, and idea-sharing sessions.

Contribute to a calm, compassionate, and Fear-Free environment for patients and clients.

Help maintain the high standards and ethos of the practice as it expands.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

RVN qualification and registration.

Experience in small animal nursing, with confidence across a range of nursing skills.

Enthusiasm for learning, with opportunities to pursue certificates and further studies fully supported.

A positive, team-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.

Compassion, resilience, and a genuine passion for animal welfare.

Salary of £28,000–£32,000.
