Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who is passionate about delivering the very highest standards of clinical care. As part of a friendly and supportive nursing team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, contributing to a varied and interesting caseload. They will work alongside experienced vets and nurses, supporting both clinical and surgical procedures, while helping to deliver outstanding care to patients and clients. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include:

Delivering high-quality nursing care across a varied caseload

Assisting with surgical procedures and monitoring anaesthesia

Supporting inpatient care and nurse clinics

Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
-
Maintaining high clinical, hygiene and safety standards
-
Supporting and collaborating with the wider veterinary team

Participating in duty nights and weekend rotations as required
The role involves working four 9-hour days, one in four weekends, and duty nights on rotation, with no TOIL for weekends.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates will:

Be a qualified and registered RVN

Have experience working in a busy veterinary practice

Be a strong team player with a positive and proactive approach

Have excellent communication and organisational skills

Enjoy a hands-on nursing role with a varied caseload
