As an Area Veterinary Surgeon, you will work within a defined geographical region, allocated to practices requiring senior veterinary expertise for specific periods. This role enables you to build close relationships with teams of vets, nurses, and non-clinical colleagues while promoting best practices. You will contribute to clinical excellence and operational improvement across multiple practices, supporting their success and delivering a wide range of medical and surgical care.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality medical and surgical care for general practice cases.
- Supporting multiple practices by acting as a senior veterinary surgeon.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships across practice teams.
- Contributing to clinical standards, operational improvements, and practice success.
- Participating in project work and initiatives aimed at enhancing the pet care ecosystem.
- Ensuring patient care and clinical excellence remain at the forefront of all activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an experienced veterinary surgeon, confident in handling a range of medical and surgical cases.
- Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Thrive in a varied role that involves driving change and promoting high standards.
- Be motivated by working collaboratively and delivering exceptional patient care.
- Hold a valid driving licence and be comfortable with travel within the designated area.
