Job Description

This is an opportunity for you to truly have the support to shape the standards of care provided in a locally owned and run practice supporting the local community.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our client’s team.  The role is within an established practice who work well together and are fully committed to the practice and their clients.  Many of the team have been there since the doors opened in 2015 and works hard to maintain a social aspect to the team when they can, so opportunities to get together outside work.

About the Role:

The ideal vet to join them will be a keen team player, have excellent communication skills and be able to build great relationships with their clients and their pets.  You should be confident in routine surgical and medical cases and comfortable with sole charge.

You will also be pivotal to the practice, truly shaping the standards within the practice and putting your stamp on how care for your patients is provided.  This is a full-time role and will be for 40 hours and NO WEEKENDS.   There is no OOH’s and so when you are finished for the day you are always able to rest and recharge. However, they are passionate about allowing people to create a work life balance that suits them, so if you are looking at a more flexible working arrangement please get in touch as they will be happy to discuss this.

You will also be supported by a very experienced nursing team. Their nurses are equipped and enabled to do all the work you don’t have too, allowing you to concentrate on providing the highest level of veterinary care.

About the Practice:

The practice benefits from great support within the organisation but its main strength is being run and owned by local people delivering the best practice possible for the local community. This allows the team to personalise the care on offer and ensures that each member of the team has a real voice in how care is delivered to their patients enabling a real “proud to be part of the team” work ethos. As a Clinical Director/Lead Vet you will be the role model for your clinical team and be motivated to develop individuals to reach their own full potential.

Sharing their passion and commitment for high standards, will ensure you thrive within this role. With a confident and capable approach, the team would love someone who could bring new ideas and ambition to the team, as they are always looking for ways to improve. As a Practice they are inclusive, embracing a supportive and non-judgement environment.

You will support the JVP in providing clinical leadership to their vets and working alongside the existing locally based leadership team to enhance a productive and positive work environment and culture.

They want their colleagues to be as diverse as their clients. Their teams are inclusive and celebrate difference so if you meet their role requirements, they’d love to hear from you.
