Our client, a small animal practice, is looking to recruit a full-time new graduate Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy team. This practice is dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care and a supportive environment for career development.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside two experienced vets, five nurses (including three RVNs), one qualified behaviourist, one trainee nurse, and a strong team of receptionists. The practice is purpose-built to industry-leading standards, featuring state-of-the-art equipment such as digital x-rays, an in-house laboratory, and an ultrasound scanner. The head vet has interests in surgery, including BOAS procedures and reproductive health. The practice promotes and utilises nurses for Schedule 3 procedures and collaborates closely with an external mobile ultrasonographer and orthopaedic surgery team.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day consultations, operations, and other veterinary duties.
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Build relationships with patients, clients, and colleagues.
- Participate in OV training to expand practice services.

- Qualified new graduate Veterinary Surgeon.
