Job Description
A veterinary clinic, situated in a vibrant community, is seeking a graduate veterinarian to join their team through their renowned graduate scheme. Located in an area with diverse surroundings yet conveniently connected to nearby cities, their recently refurbished practice boasts modern facilities aimed at enhancing the well-being of pets, clients, and colleagues alike.
Objectives: As a member of their team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a supportive team consisting of three other vets, four experienced RVNs, three VCAs, and five non-clinical staff members. They will contribute to a diverse range of projects, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of medical and surgical general practice veterinary work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care to both insured and non-insured clients.
- Manage a varied workload across medical and surgical cases.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the well-being of pets and clients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements:
- A degree in veterinary medicine from a recognised institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality veterinary care.
