Job Description
A thriving veterinary practice offers a fantastic opportunity for a new or recently graduated vet to join their team and participate in their award-winning graduate scheme. The previous graduate vet is moving on after four successful years, creating a vacancy for someone passionate about veterinary care.
The successful candidate will join a well-equipped practice featuring 3 consulting rooms, an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, and ultrasound. With a well-equipped surgical theatre and separate hospital wards for dogs and cats, they’ll work alongside 2 JVP vets, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 student veterinary nurse, and 3 veterinary receptionists in a friendly and supportive environment. They will be mentored from day one by a dedicated mentor/Vet GDP Advisor, participate in a varied CPD programme, and build their own client base with full team support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to a varied caseload
- Collaborate with a team of experienced vets and nurses
- Engage in ongoing professional development through the CPD programme
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring continuity of care
- Participate in a shared rota with no out-of-hours requirements
Requirements:
- New or recently graduated vet
- Passion for veterinary care and client service
- Willingness to learn and develop in a supportive environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to maintaining a healthy work/life balance
