Head Registered Veterinary Nurse

Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join their team in a leadership role as Head of the Nursing Team on a 6-month fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a promotion or for those who have previously held a head nurse position.

The successful candidate will work with a highly experienced regional team, developing their skills and contributing to the growth and success of the practice. Clinical coaching opportunities are available, and support will be provided if the candidate wishes to undertake an advanced certificate.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the nursing team
• Perform schedule 3 procedures
• Mentor and support other nurses
• Oversee the daily running of the practice
• Ensure high standards of client and patient care
• Collaborate with Client Care Advisors to support the client journey
• Contribute ideas to drive the business forward

Requirements:

• Experience in a veterinary nursing role
• Leadership and management skills

Our client is dedicated to ensuring their nurses fulfil their clinical potential. This full-time role offers 30-40 hours per week, currently Monday to Friday, with potential future extensions to Saturdays.
