Job Description

With three Branch Partners and a Practice Manager, you will have plenty of support and won’t be overloaded with administrative tasks. You will contribute to a range of exciting projects, including clinical leadership and patient care, within a supportive and dynamic environment. This role offers a balance between administrative duties and clinical work, with a focus on delivering exceptional care and supporting the practice’s growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team.
  • Deliver exceptional care to clients and patients.
  • Support surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-procedure activities.
  • Lead, manage, and promote nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries.
  • Monitor and care for patients, managing admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
  • Handle patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Maintain professional excellence, implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
  • Inspire and engage the team, sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes.
  • Coach and develop team members.
  • Share clinical best practices within and across practices.

 

Requirements

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Ability to confidently lead a clinical team.
  • Experience in implementing a progressive clinical culture through nurse clinics and consultations.
  • Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues to achieve the best results.
