Job Description

Our client is a leading veterinary care provider with practices across the UK and a growing presence overseas. They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take the lead at a well-established and busy practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to step into a leadership position in a vibrant and recently refurbished clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding care to clients, ensuring clear and regular updates on patient progress.
  • Uphold the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for clients, ensuring timely payments and minimising debt.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to maximise commercial performance, focusing on key metrics.
  • Mentor and develop the team, enhancing their skills and ensuring effective utilisation.
  • Inspire the team by sharing new or evolving practice standards and process improvements.
  • Proactively support and share clinical best practices within and across practices and the wider community.

 

Requirements:

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate clinical leadership.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
  • Strong understanding of how exceptional care improves the client experience.
  • Experience in implementing a progressive clinical culture.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering strong commercial performance through effective allocation of clinical activity.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Skilled in coaching and influencing to bring out the best in every colleague.
