Job Description

Our client is a medium-sized, 100% small animal practice committed to exceptional patient welfare and case continuity. Their dedicated team ensures better outcomes for their patients and a more fulfilled clinical team. They are currently seeking a dedicated Night Nurse to join their Night Team.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and professional team, working alongside experienced vets and nurses. The Night Nurse will provide exceptional care for in-patients, triage emergencies, and ensure smooth operations during night shifts. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards of care expected at the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for in-patients.
  • Answer emergency telephone lines (7 pm-8 am).
  • Triage emergency calls.
  • Assist the on-duty vet with out-of-hours consultations, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Ensure the practice is clean and prepared for the next working day.

Requirements

  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
  • High standards of patient care.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and organised with good communication skills.
  • Strong team player.

Benefits

  • Salary: £37,500 for an average of 37 hours per week.
