Job Description

Our Client is seeking a Nurse Hospital Lead to oversee the efficient operation of a veterinary hospital and ensure the highest standards of nursing care for patients.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated Clinical Team of Vets, playing a pivotal role in maintaining excellent nursing care and supporting veterinary services. They will lead by example, fostering a culture of positivity and collaboration within the nursing team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient daily operations of the hospital.
  • Supervise nursing staff during day shifts.
  • Maintain accurate hospital documentation and records.
  • Manage hospital supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff to enhance inpatient care protocols.
  • Uphold Health and Safety standards within the hospital.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train and mentor student nurses.
  • Work with the Nurse Management Team to develop the nursing team and improve patient care.

 

Requirements:

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and organised with strong communication skills.
  • Team player with potential management experience.

 

Benefits:

  • Salary: £36,000-£38,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience).
