Job Description
A dedicated and passionate full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse is sought to join a leading veterinary practice, working 40 hours per week with a 1:6 weekend rota. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a practice that supports exceptional care for patients and clients.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive team, contributing to a wide range of projects aimed at enhancing patient care and client satisfaction. This role provides the opportunity to support surgeries and procedures, conduct nurse-led appointments, and actively engage in patient monitoring and care. Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients and patients.
- Support surgeries and procedures, including all pre- and post-operative activities.
- Conduct nurse-led appointments and carry out Schedule 3 activities.
- Monitor and provide care to patients throughout their stay.
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication accurately.
- Uphold professional standards by complying with all regulatory and operational guidelines.
- Lead team briefings to coordinate and optimise practice operations.
Requirements
- Must be an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding patient and client care.
- Strong ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience in supporting nurse consultations, with an understanding of their role in practice performance and efficiency.
- Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues to achieve the best results.
