Job Description

A dynamic and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse is sought to join a day team at a state-of-the-art 24-hour hospital. With a strong focus on compassion, empowerment, and excellence, the hospital is dedicated to providing patient-centred integrated care. The facility is equipped with advanced technologies, including in-house CT, MRI, and a comprehensive lab, allowing for high-quality case management and continuity of care.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of 14 vets, 14 RVNs, 8 SVNs, and 7 VCAs, contributing to a high standard of seamless care for all patients. They will have the opportunity to work on various projects and cases, ensuring excellent patient outcomes in a supportive environment. The hospital values education and professional development, with a generous CPD budget available for ongoing training and qualification pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients
• Assist in advanced diagnostic and treatment procedures
• Collaborate with veterinary team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Engage with clients to offer support and guidance
• Participate in continuous professional development and team meetings

Requirements

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with general nursing experience
• Strong customer service skills and a cheerful, down-to-earth attitude
• A genuine interest in animal welfare; experience in hydrotherapy or behaviour therapy is ideal but not mandatory
• SVN candidates with additional qualifications in hydrotherapy or pet behaviour will also be considered
