Job Description

Are you a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity? Our client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic RVN to join their small animal practice. The clinic is equipped with modern facilities, ensuring you have everything you need to provide top-quality care.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and friendly team of veterinary professionals, including 4 vets, 6 nurses, and 1 VCA. They will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of procedures using state-of-the-art equipment such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, and ECG. The team also collaborates with external specialists for advanced surgeries and endoscopy, ensuring a varied and fulfilling role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform general nursing duties, including patient admissions, anaesthetic monitoring, and post-op recovery.
  • Assist in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries.
  • Work with a dedicated team of VCAs to ensure smooth operations in the theatre and patient preparation areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Uphold the clinic’s high standards of animal care and welfare.

 

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification.
  • Experience in general nursing and excellent customer service skills.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for animal care.
  • Open to both experienced and newly qualified nurses.

Shifts:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a half-hour lunch (30-hour week). No weekends.
