Job Description

As the successful candidate, you’ll be joining a team led by an experienced vet partner, working alongside 4 Vets, 5 Nurses, and 5 receptionists. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a well-established practice, offering high-quality care with cutting-edge equipment, including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house lab. You’ll have ample opportunity to expand your skills and grow with them.
Responsibilities
As part of the nursing team, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking and processing blood samples, placing catheters, and assisting with X-rays.
- Monitoring anaesthesia and providing in-patient care.
- Running nurse clinics and building strong relationships with clients.
- Supporting clinical procedures and contributing to the overall welfare of animal patients.
- Participating in team discussions and contributing to continuous improvement in the practice.
Requirements
They are looking for:
- An experienced or newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
- A clinical coach qualification, or an interest in working towards this (beneficial, but not essential).
- A passion for animal care and experience in a small animal practice.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Motivation to grow and use your full range of nursing skills.
