Job Description

A part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse is sought to join an established and friendly team. The practice offers a supportive environment for dedicated veterinary professionals.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a committed team comprising four vets, two RVNs, two student veterinary nurses, four receptionists, and one veterinary care assistant. They will contribute to a diverse range of cases, including orthopaedics and BOAS, while serving a loyal client base with a high percentage of insured pets.

 

Responsibilities:

As a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse, responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent nursing care to a variety of patients
  • Assisting in surgical procedures and anaesthesia
  • Conducting in-house laboratory tests and diagnostics
  • Educating clients on pet care and health
  • Supporting the veterinary team with clinical and administrative tasks
  • Maintaining a clean and organised practice environment

 

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • A valid qualification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Relevant experience in veterinary nursing
  • A genuine interest in animal welfare
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team
