As a successful candidate, you will work alongside three veterinarians, four nurses, the practice manager, and the reception team in a supportive environment that adheres to RCVS practice standards. You will contribute to various projects within a well-equipped small animal practice, enhancing your skills while providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-quality nursing care for patients.
- Admit cases and oversee in-patient care and anaesthesia.
- Support the daily operations of the practice to maintain high standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development, including training in Schedule 3 procedures.
- Encourage and support specific interests such as in-patient care and surgical nursing.
Requirements
To join the team, candidates should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
- Strong general nursing experience and excellent customer service skills.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare; clinical coaching experience is a plus but not essential.
- Great communication and organisational skills, with an eagerness to learn about practice operations and team motivation.
