Job Description
Are you ready to join a dedicated, advanced veterinary team? Our client is a leading small animal hospital seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team in a brand-new, state-of-the-art small animal hospital, fully equipped with advanced diagnostic tools such as CT, endoscopy, an ICU unit, and high-specification patient wards. The successful candidate will work within a friendly, expert team comprising 21 RVNs and SVNs and 18 Vets, many of whom hold advanced certificates in orthopaedic surgery and medicine. You’ll gain exposure to a wide-ranging caseload, from routine care to advanced second-opinion and emergency cases.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, participating in a wide range of clinical tasks.
- Work collaboratively within the hospital’s 24-hour inpatient care team.
- Contribute to various departments and shift types based on hospital needs and candidate preferences.
- Provide compassionate client support alongside the client care advisors.
Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least 3 years of experience in small animal care.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and deliver high-standard patient care.
- Flexible approach to shifts, including weekends on a shared rota.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to support both clients and colleagues.
