It is purpose-built to industry-leading standards and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital X-rays, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. They also collaborate with visiting specialists in orthopaedics, cardiology, and diagnostic imaging to manage complex cases.
The team consists of experienced vets, qualified nurses, student nurses, receptionists, and a Practice Manager—together fostering a close-knit and supportive work environment. If you have a particular area of interest in veterinary medicine, the practice is supportive of developing specialisations.
The Role & Objectives:
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the practice, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will be an integral part of a team that works collaboratively to provide exceptional veterinary services. You will be responsible for assisting with medical procedures, managing patient care, and supporting clients throughout their pets’ journey. You will also have opportunities to work alongside specialists, contributing to complex cases and furthering your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgeries and clinical procedures.
- Provide exceptional nursing care for animals.
- Work closely with the veterinary team to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
- Educate pet owners on healthcare and treatment plans.
- Maintain patient records and ensure high standards of hygiene and care.
- Participate in clinical decision-making and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Support and mentor junior team members, including student nurses.
- Manage client communications, ensuring high-quality customer service.
- Participate in on-call duties and 1 in 4 Saturday shifts.
