Are you an RVN looking for a new challenge and a change in your career? Look no further as our client has a great opportunity for an RVN to join them on a full-time basis. This role offers the chance to embark on a new journey where the focus is on putting customers and their pets first.

Our client is a busy first opinion practice with a varied caseload, including support from a visiting orthopaedic surgeon. The practice is very well-resourced, boasting x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and lab equipment, ensuring an excellent range of diagnostic and imaging capabilities.

You will join a warm and ambitious team of 3 vets, 3 RVNs, and 3 brilliant student nurses at varying stages of their training, all supported by a passionate team of client care advisors. The practice also has close working relationships with many charities, such as CPL, RSPCA, and Pro Dogs Direct.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical examinations
• Perform basic and advanced surgical techniques
• Collaborate with the veterinary team on complex cases
• Provide high-quality care to a diverse range of animal patients
• Assist in mentoring and guiding new graduates
• Participate in maintaining the practice’s diagnostic and imaging equipment

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, including strong English language proficiency
• Solid grasp of basic clinical skills (clinical exam, basic surgical techniques)
• Down-to-earth attitude to thrive in a laid-back practice environment
• Veterinary degree and relevant certifications
• Experience in a similar role or field
