Job Description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking a new opportunity? A growing small animal clinic is looking for a motivated and caring RVN to join a friendly team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £28,000–£31,000 (dependent on skills and experience), a 40-hour workweek, and a 1:4 Saturday morning rota (8:30 am–12 pm), with no OOH duties. All professional fees will be covered, a company pension will be provided, and a generous discount at a major retailer will be available.

They will collaborate with experienced professionals in a purpose-built, fully equipped clinic, all while prioritising patient care and client satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a team of vets, nurses, and support staff to keep everything structured, organised, and efficient
- Help colleagues develop their skills and champion their successes
- Act as a clinical supervisor to support SVNs in practice (with the opportunity to train for this role)
- Assist with planning the day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of the clinic
- Ensure clear communication with clients throughout every part of their journey
- Drive improvements in anaesthesia and analgesia standards
- Provide high-quality preventative care to help maintain patients’ health and well-being
Requirements:
- A passion for veterinary care, particularly in anaesthesia, analgesia, and preventative healthcare
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- A proactive attitude and a desire to support colleagues and mentor junior staff
- Excellent communication skills for building strong relationships with colleagues and clients
- Experience in small animal care as an RVN, ideally with a clinical interest in dentistry, in-patient care, and preventative care
- The ability to manage and plan time effectively to ensure smooth clinic operations

About the Clinic:
The clinic is an established, RCVS & TP-accredited small animal practice. The intimate, close-knit team is looking for an RVN to join their practice, where patients’ needs are prioritised, and colleagues look out for one another. The clinic is purpose-built, air-conditioned, and fully equipped to provide high-quality care, including a surgical theatre, pulse oximetry, blood pressure machines, and in-house biochemistry and haematology.
